About Small Screen
Published by the Australian Council on Children and the Media, small screen is a unique monthly review of the latest events, press clippings, new and proposed legislation changes, seminars and conferences, publications, and research into the effects of films, television, video games and new media on children – it identifies problem areas and highlights positive developments.
small screen is edited by Barbara Biggins OAM, and has been published continuously since 1986.
A NEW LOOK: since September 2022, small screen has undergone significant change.

- It’s now an online publication, with a new look and content.
This was made possible by an Impact grant from the Churchill Trust of Australia, awarded to Barbara Biggins (a long time Churchill Fellow).
